At the sudden action of her pet dragon flying into the kitchen, she followed him and Unknown who had followed the pet. "Fade!" Bre'Cheye said as she pulled out the apple she had been saving just for him. "Here, Fade, this is your apple. Don't be so unkind to our guest."
Fade, still pouting, grabbed the apple and sat facing the corner of the cabinet so that no one could watch him eat his apple.
Turning back toward Unknown, she asked him a question that all of the DC community knew the answer to, "Would you like a piece of pie, Unknown?"

"Oh, pie! Yes, please. Thank you." Unknown said, peering over Bre'Cheye's shoulder at the warm apple pie. "A nice big slice, if you don't mind," he added. While he waited, he looked over at Fade, pulling a nice big apple out from one of his many pockets and examining it.

She put a very generous slice of pie on a saucer then set it on the nearby table for Unknown to enjoy. Not paying attention to Fade any longer, mainly because he was gnawing on the apple that was half as big as he, Bre'Cheye sat at the table with a smaller piece of pie. She took a bite before asking, "Have you heard anything from Varn lately? I have been over to Shinra a few times and there's no one there. And I haven't seen him here lately. I hope he's okay."
She got up from the table to get a glass of milk for herself, then offered Unknown a glass as well.

While waiting on Unknown to answer about the milk, she thought she heard someone enter. She looked up and saw that it was Running Eagle. She waved him over to sit at the table then said, "Welcome Running Eagle, would you like a piece of pie? Any flavor you care for. I would offer you snickerdoodle cookies, but I must say that I only give those to Dathron."
Standing near the lined up pies that included almost every flavor, she waited on the answer for the pie and the milk.

She pushed aside the coconut cream pie to pull out the dark chocolate pie that had been cooling at the back of the cabinet. She sliced another generous portion of pie and handed it to Running Eagle.
"I hope that a lot of people show up for the birthday party," she said, out of the blue with a smile on her face.
In her mind she was remembering the over 5 foot tall birthday cake that the clan and friends devoured. Would that be topped this year?
"I must get with Sirinnu and ask him what kind of cake he wants for the party. And also to make sure that the invitations have been sent out. The more the merrier, I always say."

Waiting for a pause in the conversation, Unknown said, "Yes, milk would be nice. Thank you. No, I haven't heard from Varn. It's too bad...ShinRa was turning out to be such a nice clan." Taking another bite of pie, he wondered if he would be introduced to the person Bre'Cheye had called Running Eagle.

Sitting back at the table, she listened to Unknown's repsonse and replied back to him inbetween bites of her own pie, "I always loved to visit Shinra, it's so peaceful. Well, with the exception of when I was thrown into Ant's jail. That was a bit traumatic, if only briefly."
She took another bite then drew in a deep breath, "Oh my! Look at my manners!! Unknown," she said, touching the sleeve of his shirt before turning toward Running Eagle, "this is Running Eagle. He is one of my clan mates. And Running Eagle," she added, motioning toward her other friend, "this is Unknown. While he may have an unusual name, he's known in quite many places; near and far. Oh, and he is a pie connoisseur."

Unknown nodded toward Running Eagle and said hello. Turning back to Bre'Cheye, he asked, "Why did you introduce him as your clanmate? Wouldn't that make him my clanmate as well?" Without waiting for a response, he said to Running Eagle, "I believe I've seen you around before, but we haven't actually met yet. Right?" Unknown then took another large bite of his pie, with a very contented look on his face.

She opened her mouth to answer Unknown's question, then closed it to find the words. "Yes, he would be your clanmate as well," she finally said, "I guess I'm just a bit tired. It's been a long day."
She sat in silence while eating her pie. She cast a glance toward the corner of the cabinet where her pet dragon Fade was wrestling with the apple then looking back up toward her guests, she said, "I guess the both of you are excited about the upcoming birthday party, I know I've been looking forward to it for some time."
She took her empty plate to the sink then picked up a damp cloth to wipe at an area of the cabinet that wasn't in need at all. Her thoughts were drifting to a village called Mindenburg and the Inn that she owned there. She didn't know why the sudden memories had been surfacing, for most of her past had been buried deep within her mind.
She turned back to her guests and smiled, "I certainly hope it doesn't rain."

~*~*~*~*~*~A FEW DAYS AFTER W&W'S B-DAY PARTY*~*~*~*~
The balloons had all deflated and the streamers were now down from the Birthday Banquet Hall in the Wizards & Warriors castle. After cleaning all the uneaten food, cakes & pies from the long tables then mopping the floors, Sirinnu had locked the doors to the Birthday Banquet Hall until the next clan birthday rolled around.
Bre'cheye was now at home, her party feathers and costume put away and the heavy stage make up washed from her face. She had had a marvelous time at the party this year, even though there were quite a few she had not seen there. She had opened all the gifts from the ones who had thrown various party games, and was very proud of each and every item. The only gift she had not opened, was a long heavy box that lay in her living room floor in front of the fireplace.
Wearing her pink flannel gown and scruffy pink slippers, she made her way in the dark living room to sit in the floor next to the box. The fire from the fireplace was bright enough that she had no need for a lantern. She picked up the card to see who it was from, and it was from her favorite orc: Sirinnu.
The box had been wrapped in silver paper and trimmed with a pink ribbon. She smiled at the choice of pink for the ribbon, considering the LARGE red ribbon in the Town Square Tavern that was used on individual's necks who fell asleep.
She slid her finger beneath the edge of the paper and quickly pulled it aside. As she lifted the box, she felt the breath escape from her lungs so much she thought she would pass out.
"Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness!!! Oh my!!!" was all she could say as she slowly lifted the Silver Amini Club in her trembling hands. She stood up, and swung it around the living room... just to see how it felt... then sat back down to inspect it closer.
She looked, then looked again then blinked hard as she tried to form the words, "Two hundred and ten attack and.... oh mygoodness.... six... six oh my, Six hundred and thirty skill?!?!?! That can't be right, that's..." She looked even closer and saw that indeed, it was a SAC with +210a & +630s. "Six hundred and thirty skill...."
She sat back against the couch as the reflection of the flames danced on the silver of the club. In her mind, she kept repeating the number 630, still somewhat dazed while feeling very proud.
She placed the SAC back in the box, very carefully since it was not fully enchanted, then lay down on the floor by it. She would put it in her bank vault tomorrow and begin enchanting it as well. She fell asleep thinking of what she could do to repay the kindness shown to her since her arrival to this great clan.

After many afternoons sitting outside the Bank Vault using one enchanting scroll after another on the Silver Amini Club with the base stats of +210a+630s, Bre'Cheye had finally reached the soft purple glow of a fully enchanted weapon. The hour was late and she didn't have the energy to try it out, so she placed the SAC in it's box then back into the Bank Vault until the next day.
She made her way back to her cottage, smiling as she listened to the cheerful sounds of the spring birds in the trees that lined the trail that would lead her home. The flowers were beginning to pop through the ground and the trees were becoming plump with fresh new leaves. Even in the dark, she was able to clearly see things with the Night Vision that most Wood Elves were born with.
After arriving back at her cottage, she quickly readied herself for bed and quickly fell asleep with her teddypanda bear close by and her tiny dragon Fade sitting on a tall chest to keep watch over his Mistress.
The next morning after a quick breakfast, she ran back to the Bank Vault to retrieve the fully enchanted Silver Amini Club. She had decided to try it out in the woods before making her way toward the docks.
She ran through the fields with the heavy club hanging from a leather strap she had thrown across one shoulder then a turn to the left and she was finally in the Forest.
The first thing that attacked was a slimy slug. She swung the club around, which caught her off guard with the weight of it, and luckily she hit the Snot then landed on the ground. The Snot exploded, flinging slimy particles up into the air. She quickly cast a invisible barrier around herself as she still lay on the ground, then breathed a sigh of relief as she watched the slime slide down the curved barrier.
"Well obviously," she said to herself as she got to her feet, "this will serv me well!"
Satisfied, she left the forest to make her way back to her cottage to change into her hunting attire for the day.

A fog rolls in under the cottage door as lightning was crashing and thunder was booming... A dark figure appears in the door way.
"Heya! How the heck you been Brecheye!! Oh my you sure got plenty of guests, I recognize these ol' faces!" Tripop scans the room nodding to his clan mates.
"Where's the Pie?" tripop said as he made his way to the dining room.
"I just have to have some milk with my pie." tripop insisted.
As the fog rolled by and the weather cleared up the morning was breaking and tripop realized it was going to be a glorious day. He began to think of ways to repay Bre'Cheye for her hospitality and so he went outside and started weeding the flower beds.

Gawayn passed by the neatly-weeded flower beds and tipped his hat at the gardener. His return to the cottage was something he'd been looking forward to for a great time, as his duties and adventures made returning a sometimes long-delayed thing. He eased himself into an open chair nearby, careful to make sure he didn't bump into anything (hard metal edges, you know). Flipping open his visor, he smiled, taking out a pipe an tamping down some tabac.
"How is everyone doing? It's good to see you all here, that's for sure. Running_Eagle, Unknown, so great you're meeting for the first time. Funny how we can be so long in here and fail to have such run-in's, yes? Is there any pie left for me? It's been a while since my last stop and bouncing along on the back of a horse works up one's appetite." He stopped, looking to the hostess. "Bre, do you mind if I smoke my pipe in here, since the window's open?"
