A dark mass of something surrounded Smitty's sword hand, pinning him against a wall inside the house.
"It would be hard to kill someone who you cannot see, and even harder when you cannot move. I mean you no harm, either. But when you spy on me, you generally regret it. Of course, that means that you will live. But I have things to do, I will free you later."
You fool! Vous ne devriez pas avoir fait cela!La lumière des lumières, finissent cette obscurité..MAINTENANT !
Suddenly, a pure white light exploded from the inside of the house, growing larger and larger. The pervasive light expanded and receded slowly inching its way towards the two men outside.
Smitty's hand was free from bondage, the light melted away the dark blob.
Striding towards the two men once more, Smitty repeated, and this time with a smile, "I mean you no harm. If you please raise your sword so I shalt not cut you down without honor--MOVE ASIDE!"
Smitty shoved the man to the ground as he strode towards the woods with sword gleaming in his hand. He spotted someone, and it was time for them to die.

*Light. Dim light appeared and then it was gone. The dark once again overwhelmed him. He felt short of breath. Forsaken and alone. The world seemed distant and surreal as though it was a dream Vyn had made up in his head to give himself false hope of escaping this torture. Blood. He tasted blood in his mouth. Death. "Is this hell?" He didn't know if he had spoken those words or simply thought them.
Light. Blinding Light. Vyn felt penetrated by light in all of his pores. It flooded over him and he felt instantly better.
"Who are you, old man?" A deep and cruel sounding voice echoed in his eardrums.
Vyn tried to speak but his mouth was so dry and his throat so parched that he could not.
"Get him some water! What have you been doing, torturing him?" It was a younger, softer voice this time. Sweet sounding to his ears. It was the voice of a girl that was somewhat familiar.
Liquid trickled down his throat and replenished his physical and spiritual body. The light was more bearable and Vyn could see again. The girl was wearing glasses and Vyn could see that he looked old again, his powers had been stripped of his body somehow. The beautiful girl whispered in his ear. "Please tell them who you are, you will be able to come out of containment if you do." She was kind and caring.
Vyn was barely able to gasp out his name. "Vyn.." He coughed. "Fyre."
The girl looked shocked. Her glimmering green eyes widened, and she pushed her dark hair back behind her ear. "Vynce?"
"Yes, my name. This darkness has eaten me alive and spat me out as only a shadow of my former self." He looked at the girl again. "Melanie." He gasped.
Tears welled up in her eyes. "What happened to you? Why are you here, we can't be together until the end." She looked behind her quickly and then kissed Vyn.
By her power he felt completely rejuvenated. Healed. His own powers returned. "Goodbye, my love."
In a single blue pulse his body had reverted to its ageless state and he jumped to a different time.
He looked around and found himself directly in front of an oncoming man. They collided and fell to the ground tumbling over a steep cliff. Vyn acted quickly by grabbing the man's robes and grabbing a branch that stuck out of the earth. His body screamed with pain as the weight of the man pulled on his limbs.
"Let me go! I want to be with my wife." The man sobbed.
"I will not let you go sir. It is in my nature to save, and not condemn." As Vyn looked around a little more he realized it was not off a cliff in which they had been falling but a rather tall skyscraper, and Vyn was holding on to a flagpole rather than a branch. A closer look at the man revealed that he was not wearing robes but rather a suit and Vyn held fast onto his belt. Apparently his powers were back but without control.
"This might be a bad time to ask but what year is it?"*

Unknown was blinded by the light, then knocked to the ground by this rough man. Anger pulsed through his body. After the light faded Unknown made a darkness around the noble, engulfing him completely. He couldn't even open his mouth, and, if he could make the spell in his head, Unknown was slinging him around, ramming him into things. Then he pushed the noble as far out over the forest as he could, when Unknown had reached his limit, he jerked him back a little bit, then threw him forward deep into the forest.
"Now, can you help me to save Vyn?" He said to Divine Auror.

OoC: I guess I'll just stick with the story of Divine falling asleep randomly without much reason...
Divine bears witness to the brief battle between the strange man and the noble. As the skirmish went on, Divine used the opportunity to analyze each man. The strange man was capable of using dark magic (a generally dangerous and threatening breed) to ensnare the noble's hand. The noble was capable of summoning light to expose the darkness, "But the light did not originate from the noble's own body," thought Divine. Before he could study their fighting styles any further, Divine was able to sense great anger whelming up inside the strange man. Divine bore witness to the noble being completely engulfed by darkness, clearly summoned by this strange man.
Divine's brain was shutting down because he needed sleep. Somehow the darkness was making him wearisome, even though no assault was made on him. As he stood there, half asleep it seemed, he faintly heard, "Now, can you help me to save Vyn?" This request was made by the strange man...but...should Divine provide aide to one capable of such hate and dark emotion? And what of this noble? Shouldn't Divine have dispersed the dark blob that engulfed him? After all, Divine swore to protect the world from darkness, from lies, and deceit. Yet, somehow, he knew that this noble was not in need of salvation. Perhaps...this strange man is the one who needs help...he's in need of rescue from himself...or from his past...
Divine is surely entering a dream-like state, a trance of thought that disconnected him from the world around him. As he stood there, not fully cognizant, he remembered an proverb from long, long ago: "“True Love burns the brightest, But the brightest flames leave the deepest scars.”
Those scars...from this strange man's past...were not scars at all. It was an open wound that had not yet healed. Divine was now entering a much deeper sleep, but he wanted to see what would become of the nobleman in the woods.

(lol unknown! quit attacking me!)
Suddenly it went dark. Smitty could feel himself being dragged somewhere, to where he was going, it was unclear. Landing hard upon a stiff log, Smitty finally made his way to his feet.
I saw someone out here. Where did he go? And why did that man attack me? If I hadn't shoved him to the ground, he would've been a prime target for the crossbow i saw.
Creeping quietly back towards the house, Smitty soon spotted the man in the woods. Obviously he didn't see him getting hurled through the air.
Should I let him take a shot at the two outside? Wait, one of them is sleeping! But not the man who attacked me...I shouldn't even let him get a shot, if this man is good with his crossbow, he could take out that fool who attacked me, but then if he misses surely that stranger would screw everything up and destroy me in the process of removing this headhunter from existence.
With that final thought, Smitty quietly slit the throat of the man in the woods. Seeing how things were not going well, Smitty walked out of the woods quietly and drug the man towards the dark stranger.
Laying the body of the assasin by his feet, Smitty adressed the dark warrior with a tone that could only be described as pity "If you were not so much of a fool, you would have been pierced through the heart by this man and his crossbow. I do understand you thought I was attacking you, but perhaps when someone shouts for you to move and makes his way as fast as he can away from you, you would do well not to attack. With all things aside, I shall bid this town adieu, my pursuers are not far behind me, they most likely saw the magic that occurred tonight. Do not follow me. Upon my return perhaps we may settle this permanently."
Smitty grabbed his weary horse and made his way out of the town.

Unknown was thinking, the crossbowman wouldn't have seen him if it wasn't for the light, and if the noble was being persued, then the crossbowman was probably after the noble. Not Unknown. And, the noble, no matter how "wise" he was, probably would have been shot down, if Unknown hadn't of slung him. Maybe he had acted a little bit hastily, but chances were that he had saved this nobles life. And if he hadn't, then the crossbowman was useless and of no threat to Unknown.
"Wake up!" he shouted to Divine Auror once more. Unknown shook him, then gave up. "I might as well rest, he's not going to wake-up."

"Wake up!"
Those words should have done the trick. Divine was not accustomed to resting so soundly (deep sleepers don't live as long), but his body refused to become conscious just yet. Could the darkness really drain Divine's power like this? Even when it never has before? Divine realizes that his previous incantation must have made him vulnerable. He senses that his body will need much more rest, but he urgently needs to tell this strange man...something....his mouth won't move...he manages to summon the power to speak directly to the strange man's mind:
"Need rest, I'm vulnerable...I entrust you....my life....please...Scars...past...need....healed...."
Divine passes out.
His body retains its natural glow, and his eyes continue to shine although his eyelids are tightly shut.

Unknown watched the man sleeping, still glowing. Does he never stop glowing? Ugh. Then a voice sounded in his head "Need rest, I'm vulnerable...I entrust you....my life....please...Scars...past...need....healed...." So now I have to protect this person who has done nothing for me? Fine. I guess Vyn will have to wait, maybe die waiting.
Unknown crept into the shadows and hid there, if anyone were to pass by, all they would see was a deeply sleeping, glowing man.

*Trying to reach for the flagpole with his leg, the struggling man did not help any.
"Let me go, you will end up dying with me if you don't! You are young and still have time to find love, I don't!" The man began to undo his belt so that he could slip it off.
"Stop! You have much more to live for. Patience is a virtue, if you wait you will be with your soulmate, but this is not the way!" Vyn's hand was slipping and all he could do was try to regain control over his power but this was not a good way to meditate. The wind had picked up rapidly and tore at his clothes, which offered little protection against the chill.
The man had undone his belt and it sped through the loops of his pants burning Vyn's hand as it slipped. The buckle caught on the man's pants but tore the fabric of the loop. Vyn threw his legs around the mans body as he whipped his other hand up to the flagpole to give him more support. The man was now unable to move his arms to struggle further, so instead he kicked out in random directions.
"Stop Struggling!" Vyn yelled at out of frustration.
"Cut out the hero gig, kid, get over whatever savior-complex you have, you can't save me!"
"I won't let go!" At that moment Vyn noticed a colossal object being hurled at them.
It was a plane, Vyn was so shocked that he lost his grip on the pole. He did however have enough wits about him to grab onto the flag. The plane swerved and went straight towards another building. Vyn suddenly knew what time he was in, the start of a war that erupted into the era in which he had previously occupied. He not only knew the exact year, but the exact date and time as well as his location. The man below him had stopped struggling and hung in awe at the sight which was unfurling in front of them. A huge wave of smoke and dust sprung up in their direction and completely clouded Vyn's vision and it found a way down his throat, too.
In a fit of coughing Vyn did all he could to hang on, but he was so disoriented that he failed to keep his grip.
Feeling the smooth material vanish from his hands, Vyn felt a deep moment of despair as he fell to his death. The fall seemed as though it was lasting for too long, he felt at peace. The businessman was no longer connected to him and Vyn felt as light as air itself. A faint view opened beneath him, of two bodies, mutilated from hitting the hard pavement.
Time and space melted away.
Before him was a bright light and nothing else. The light was so pure and good that Vyn felt weak in its presence. A thundering noise tore through being. Enveloping him. Engulfing him. An angel then appeared to him.
"Your human vessel has perished. However it was in great sacrifice to another being, in which your duty was to protect mankind with all you are. Your purpose is far greater than death and you were not made to die in this manner. A new vessel shall be given to you. A new blessing shall be granted. You will be returned your memories as a gift for what you have done thus far. You will also be granted flight for our Lord almighty has given you a vessel created specifically for you. Created in the midst of a supernova. Your next death will bring you home, eternally. Breathe."
Vyn inhaled and the light flooded his soul. He began to fall again as grace surrounded him. He flew into barren wasteland and a large explosion illuminated the area. Instead of causing a crater, grace was not destructive, it was creative, A shockwave had been sent throughout his surroundings the wasteland became lush. Trees grew, vegetation thrived, and Vyn found himself in a clearing surrounded by miles of forest with one large, magnificent oak towering in the middle of it all.
He looked up at the large tree. He walked forward and picked up a sharp stone. Carving in the tree words of guidance for the next traveler to follow.
Vyn realized what he had created in his fall. The mystery had been revealed after so long.
Summoning his strength, Vyn shot into the sky and flew towards a lake, to see what his new vessel appeared as.
His hair was a translucent silvery white that fell over the tops of his ears and eyebrows. His skin was deep and rich though not too dark. He had very tanned skin, most likely from the overwhelming amount of Vitamin E he had received from the UV rays of the star. He was of his previous height and build, though perhaps more slender. His face remained generally untouched. It seemed to glow though, but Vyn grew used to it. What really confused him was the way his eyes has had changed. They had grown a deep violet. Vyn stared at his own eyes for, perhaps, too long. He then concentrated and vanished. Returning to the time that his new friends would be at.
He saw Unknown as well as the one whom called himself Divine. He noticed felt Ignac's presence on the second level. He also felt the presence of death, a man had recently been killed. Wraith had also polluted this clearing. Slowly fading was the presence of two more men, one he had felt before and one he had not. He stood there smiling slightly at the sight of Al-Haqq sleeping while standing. Then brisk breeze interrupted his thoughts and he looked down at himself realizing he was naked.*
~Centuries previous, a traveling Orc ventured into a wood that was not marked on his map. The center seemed to call to him. He saw a towering oak. Words had been etched into the trunk. They read:
Dear Traveler, I have a request. This tree is meant to be cut down, despite its beauty, its not meant to stay standing. However, it will become a town. A post for travelers like you. You have the honor of creating the town to your own liking. These woods are called the Forest of Glory and likewise a building should be created called the Parlor of Glory. Sincerely, A future occupant.
The traveler did as he was asked and retrieved a crew to help create a town that would withstand time itself.~

Unknown stood, watching the naked man fly and stand, watching Divine Auror, it seemed like he knew him...
"Vyn? Why do you look so different? And WHY are you naked???"

"It's a long story and thanks for the welcome..."
Vyn quickly went into the house to find anything to wear. He wished had been more thorough in packing his usual garments as he searched in despair. Finally he found a pair of brown trousers and a white tunic.
"This will have to do for now." He muttered to himself as he walked out to talk to the two men again.
"Unknown, what's wrong with Al-Haqq?" He asked looking at the man who was strangely standing and sleeping at the same time. Vyn nudged him and to no response he nudged harder and Divine fell over. "Oh.. uh, maybe we should move him."

"Yea, we probably should."
Unknown dragged Divine into a room, and laid him on a bed.
"He should be fine in... About 3-4 days. I'm guessing. Now, tell me your story."

((OoC: Well I'm going to do one of those nifty jumps you always read or see in movies.))
"Well you see..." Vyn told Unknown his story word for word, hoping that he would not think he'd lost his mind.
"I'm surprised you recognized me, I barely recognized myself, but then again you tend to remember things quite easily... How is that?"

Unknown couldn't think straight, and told Vyn (!) how he could remember everything.
"I have a little enchanted stone, it helps me rememb- Wait... You don't need to know that....? Ugh... I need some sleep..."
Unknown got up and went to his room, where he laid down and thought through everything Vyn had told him, and what he had told Vyn.
