*Ignac stands and starts towards the stove, thinking about what Vyn said.*
Why would I be brought here? An adventure? Ignac asked himself.
*Ignac reaches the stove and serves himself another hearty portion*
As he turns back to the table, Ignac realizes that the otherwise pristine floor now had boot tracks all over it.
*Checking that vyn and his company arent looking, Ignac wipes his foot against the ground*
As though under attack by a soapy sponge, the mud was streaked across the floor and then faded quickly until all that remained was the shiny floor.
*Ignac smiles*
"Thanks for the supper"
Ignac was actually smiling about this small success, he designed the boots to help him find his direction and cover any trace of his passing, but they also made him a very polite guest.
*Ignac walks back to his seat. He places the bowl on the table and sits*
A thought causes him to release his weight too early and the unbalance nearly causes him to fall off the chair.
What if I wasn't quite as lost as I thought? What if this place really brought me here, by misleading me or worse some by corruption of my enchantment.
*Ignac reaches down to his feet and frantically unties his boots. He jumps to his feet and kicks them off one at a time. They land across the room with a thud*
Rationality regains control of Ignacs mind.
Ignac remembered that many of his belongings would also be susceptible and that if such a magic were here, it could have done far worse then bring him hot food and kind company.
Besides, what if the map was fake? Or if the place it led to wasn't even real?
"Is this place magic?" Ignac's question escaped him.
*Ignac stares across the table at Vyn and the other, whos name he did not know.*

Unknown looked towards Ignac, then at Vyn. "I don't know, I was going to ask the same thing. I was hoping that Vyn could tell me, since he seems to know so much about it."
Before Vyn could reply, Unknown got up and got some more stew. When he returned, he sat down and looked eagerly at Vyn. "So, IS it magic?"

*A solemn look crosses Vyn's face as he looks both Unknown and Ignac in the eyes, one after the other. He withdraws his hands from the bowl and sthingy and cross them in front of him on the table. Vyn looks down at his hands and then up at the two again.
"Magic is a word used much too loosely..." Vyn sighed and looked down again at his hands.
He began to channel the energy inside him to effect the time around him. His face began too change but not into a different form, but rather into a different age. As he watches his hands grow thin and weak, covered with liver spots and wrinkles, Vyn forms the magic he withdrew and forms an orb above their heads.
"As you see me now is only a fraction of my true age." Vyn had grown snow white hair and a beard, along with a much thinner face lined with wrinkles. Still looking much the same beneath all the changes were his eyes, a mysterious gaze emitting from them that was still friendly but also of high concentration. With the orb of subtle, blue light, Vyn begins to create an image that could only be described as heaven. Just as three faces appear, the orb vanishes and Vyn regains his youthful complexion, however his eyes remain the same.
"That is my true home, where I belong, but I was given a duty to stay on Earth until the very end and then I shall return home. Those three faces were my family, my mother, father and my soul mate Melanie, of whom this town is named after."
"A long, long time ago, which would actually be in the future for you two, I was born from two angels who were in love and wanted to have a child. Their Lord gave them that ability by allowing them to take the forms of humans and to live on Earth, to live the lives of normal humans and grow old."
"They were each cleaned of their memories, but since true love never dies, in their human forms they found each other again and fell deeply in love all over. I was born soon after their marriage, as a human. The blessing my Lord had given me was supposed to have laid dormant until I breathed my last breath, but the Enemy attempted to change the course of time, in which my Lord needed me sooner and I was sent back in time to fulfill my destiny. Of what happened next is not necessary for this conversation so I will skip ahead. Eventually I was reunited with my family and girlfriend, Melanie. They were my entire world, I needed no one else. But the Enemy tried desperately to take them away, so my Lord made me a promise, that if I stayed as a guardian of this world, he would take them into his tabernacle until the end when I would then be reunited with them once again. He bestowed upon me a blessing of understanding, not near as great as his, but much more than the average man and then I was sent back to Earth, I could travel through time at my own will, and also control the time in which something around me has endured."
"To the fool and unwise It is magic and I am a sorcerer. But to you and few others whom I have trusted with this wisdom, I am a guardian angel of Earth given abilities to complete my promise and the plan my Lord laid out for me."
Vyn tenderly plants his fingertips on each of the men's foreheads and reverses their memories' time to a few moments ago in which he had not yet told them this story.
Sighing to himself Vyn sheds a single tear and looks back at them. "It can be considered magic, for your own chance to gain access to a place far greater than this I must leave it up to you, you must have your own faith... no one can get the easy way in. It was not magic that brought you here however, it was the eyes and ears of your spirits that brought you here" After finishing Vyn grabs his sthingy and begins to eat, thinking, "They deserve to be told, but Vyn understands that he can never let them remember. This was the real reason why it was such a slim chance that his friends would return.
(((OOC: The reason why I explained more of my character's background and then erased your characters memories, was to give you a third person knowledge of the story without changing anything within the story. I hope you enjoyed my little tale.)))

*Ignac runs his fingers through his short brown hair, and rubs his eye with his palm. Letting out a deep breath, Icnac's hand comes to rest supporting his head. Ignac feels the scar on his cheek which had been there since he was a very young man, arguably still a child*
Ignac felt like his question was left unanswered, Vyn made it clear he was avoiding to tell something. Though he wanted to press for a real answer, Ignac resisted the urge.
Ignac begins to sense a certain peacefulness here and no longer feels threatened.
"You are right that I am seeking a place of greatness. Perhaps we can speak on this another time."
Deciding that it might be better to stay in this town and make a plan, then to leave with falling sun Ignac asks a question before either of the others has time to reply.
"Is there an inn or a place to stay the night in this town?"

Unknown was wondering how any of this could be true, how could Vyn be an angel? Then Vyn walked up to him and he was suddenly alarmed that he could be so in-alert that someone could walk up to him and touch him before he noticed. Then he reached for his enchanted stone, but even with it's power, Vyn was sitting down, then suddenly he was there. Unknown didn't know how this was possible, but something told him that Vyn wasn't about to tell him.
Then Ignac spoke up, wanting to know if there was a place he could stay for the night. "I stayed here, I'm sure there's enough room for you too. Vyn, of course would know. He seems to know a lot." He said this while studying Vyn, searching for an answer. He knew when someone was keeping a secret, and Vyn was keeping a secret.
Unknown looked at the clues, "It can be considered magic." But it's not, Unknown thought. But if it's not, then what is it? "For your own chance to gain access to a place far greater than this I must leave it up to you, you must have your own faith..." A place far greater than this? Your own faith? Unknown would probably spend months puzzling over every bit of information Vyn had given him and will give him, from now, to when they part ways.

*Wiping the tear from his eye before either of the men could see, Vyn felt like he had just committed the worst possible act of cheesiness.
"What kind of room are you looking for? We have several kinds upstairs, or I can take you over to the General Store and you can stay in the apartment, and maybe if we get more travelers coming through you could run the place.... I know that is a big duty and its kind of soon, considering you just came by, but if you arent in too much of a hurry... would you want to stay?"
Vyn looks over towards Unknown and is shocked to see a bit of emotion, actual puzzlement, on his face. Is it possible that Unknown remembered... no that would be highly unlikely, Vyn churns the possibilities in his head. The only way would have been for Vyn's power source to either be blocked or run out. Being blocked would be a thousand times more likely but still almost impossible.
"So what do you two think of staying around a little while?"*

I wouldn't mind staying awhile, I'm hunting for something, and the only chance I'm going to have is a little ways away, and resting for awhile wouldn't hurt me. Besides, I think I may have found... Something here that's more valuable.

"Any room with a bed would be better than hard earth"
"As generous as your offer to stay in the store apparment, I'll have to decline. I too am hunting something, and I'm not sure how long I can stay"
"On second thought, if you happen to have a room with a window facing east It would be perfect"
*~yaaaaawn~*
Ignac was exhausted. He had many worries running though his mind. He needed time to think. And sleep. And prepare.

"Hm... a room facing east.. the best I can do is the one across from Unknown that has two windows, one to the north and one to east... How does that sound?"
Vyn slides a key from his belt across the table to Ignac and smiles.
"Unknown, I'd be honored to have you awhile longer. Also, my aid extends to the both of you in whatever quest you may be on. That is what this parlor stands for, its a kind of center for both wizards and warriors alike, from necromancers to magi, from ninjas to pirates. The Parlor of Glory is a place of heroes, for people to come when they need help and travelers to gain aid and for good souls to rest... this place is very peaceful. Since I am the only one left, or so it seems, of the original fellowship of heroes I will do my best to keep on this legacy. The two of you can join if you want or request help or both. I'd be honored if you joined the ranks, my friends..."
As Vyn thinks about what to say next, he realizes that he talks a lot...
"Um.. so um... what do you think?"

Road weary and slim from lack of food, King Smitty's Horse trudges into the town. Well he wasn't quite King anymore, he would have to announce himself as Smitty, one without a title, or an inheritance to rule the mightiest kingdom of the land. This would serve two purposes he mused, to keep him from lying (for he was no longer king) and to keep new faces from knowing a King was in their midst..(his pursuers would pay greatly for his whereabouts).
Grief-stricken at the loss of his throne, and for the fact all his possessions were gone save his nearly-dead horse and majestic blade, Smitty made his way to a cabin. Smoke filled the air above the chimney; he decided he should see if he was able to stay the night.
Opening the door, unnanounced, he entered.
Three men sat at a table, eating a stew. My, how he wished he could've had the feasts he was accustomed to...
"You there (pointing to Vyn), where is the nearest Inn, and where can I rest my horse? I have been riding for days and I am afraid he may have to be put down if i do not rest him soon."
Waiting for the man to jump up and immediately answer his question, Smitty realized this man had no idea who he was. Pulling off his gloves, it pained him to know that he did not have his servants around.

Unknown had been thinking when the man had walked in, he wanted an inn. Unknown answered him, "There are some rooms upstairs, I don't have the keys though, you'll have to ask him. But for now, I need some rest."
Unknown then walked up the stairs, he was obviously lost in thought, and he tripped on the first step. He got up and continued up the steps, then went into his room.

*Ignac slides the key off the table into his hand. With the flick of his thumb it flips in the air creating a sharp metalic tone. The key flips through the air and lands in Ignac's hand which dips into a pocket*
Plain brass, Ignac thought to himself, judging by the weight and ring. Usefull, but not worth nearly enough to bother keeping, he judged.
"Thank you, I will be sure to remember the hospitality I found here. Someday maybe I will return and meet these..... Heroes."
Iganac knew that it was unlikely he would return, and even less likely that he would meet anyone worthy or his help or of any help or use to him. Of all the people back in Seavale, Ignac only knew one other with any power like his. Despite all this, he needed to keep things to himself. It would do him no good to be boastful. No one bothers ordnary people, especially ones that act respectfully. And besides, as much as he doubted Vyn and his bold claims, Ignac thought the man was sincere about wanting to rebuild this place. There was no need to say anything else.
*Ignac puts his hands on the table to push his seat back and stand*
Before he stands, the door opens.
A man walks in and asks where he can find an inn. He seems concerned for his horse. This was a strange way to address someone after barging in uninvited.
*Ignac stands up and walks towards the door*
As he approaches the door he realizes the man is dirt covered. He must have been traveling hard for quite some time.
*Ignac reaches to the ground and grasps his pack in one hand. He dragged it across the ground and bends slightly to grab up his boots.*
Muttering under his breath so that only the newcome could hear, Ignac says,
"I'm sure there's room somwhere for you and the horse. Vyn is a good man so there is no need to point and make demands."
*Ignac gives the man a welcoming nod before making his way to the stairs and walking up them.*
Partway up, Ignac realizes he might be leaving very early.
"Thank you for the stew and room. I'll leave something for your trouble in the morning."

In a small forest grove not too far from this mystical cottage there is a man. Even though the forest clearing provides no obstruction to the view, to look upon this man seems a difficult and straining task. On a small rock he sits quietly for hours waiting for the right moment before he whispers quietly:
"Dai-Puruhu-Bari, Jeha-Urha-Bari, Sim-Nurhu-Auror!"
Although the words were almost inaudible, even to one listening intently, it was clear that the power in these words had a power that stretched far into the distance. After a few hours of silence, the white figure arose from his place of meditation. As he stood, the robes he wore flowed down to the earth as if they were and endless waterfall of light seeping into the ground. The forest was dense but the man walked a straight path-he knew exactly where he was headed. To look at the man one would think he had all the time in the world; his pace was perfect and leisurely. His slow movements did not merit the haste of his travel, though, for he progressed through the forest with uncanny speed. His feet (if there were any beneath those bright, white robes) left no imprint upon the ground as he glided along to his destination.
The robed figure comes to a gradual stop, just outside the grounds of the house. He waits with a patience that indicates his awareness of the current situation. The man he is waiting for is indeed inside this house, but who are the other three? Do they yet know his quandary's true story? The robed man knows this situation must be dealt with, but he's unsure whether his spell had its intended result. He thinks to himself, "Perhaps it's best to just sit and listen for a short while to find out what these adventurers really know."
From the conversations in the house it is evident to the man that the three had no clue about Melanie or who Vyn really is. "Surely he has good reason for keeping them in the dark," he thought. Although the idea of hiding the truth deeply troubled the man, he resolved to speak with Vyn about it in private. "I best not make my presence known to the three until a more opportune time."
Although his lips remain firmly pursed to one another, the words escaped from his mind, nonetheless: "Vyn, I am sitting just beyond the grounds of your house. Here I shall wait until you have the opportunity to come alone. Be sure not to stir the others."

Unknown was laying in his bed, thinking about Vyn. How could he not remember Vyn coming up on him? Could Vyn erase memories? Why would he erase Unknowns memory, if he could? Unless he had told him and Ignac something... Something that he and Ignac didn't need to know. Or something that they shouldn't know. or something that Vyn didn't want them to know. Figuring out which it was would help Unknown to get the information he wanted.

*Sighing as the stranger barges in, getting mud all over the place and denting the wall where the door had hit, Vyn smiles and laughs under his breath at Unknown and walks up to the visitor as Ignac walks away.*
"You can tie your horse in the stable on the side of this building, there should be hay. It should be be warm enough tonight, as well. As for lodging, you may stay here and there is plenty of stew for you to indulge yourself in. Here's a key to a room upstairs that has a window overlooking the stable, that way you can keep an eye on your horse if you so desire..."
*Vyn trails off as a familiar, yet strange sound penetrates his thoughts. After unsure hesitation he realizes that its a voice."Vyn, I am sitting just beyond the grounds of your house. Here I shall wait until you have the opportunity to come alone. Be sure not to stir the others." Vyn looks around and realizes what the voice must be.*
*Ignac's voice snaps Vyn out of hit daze and Vyn says good night to the man. He looks back at the stranger and speaks again.*
"What is your name, friend, and why do you seem so bothered?'
