Although I have a RP currently going on right now, which I hope to continue, I thought it would be appropriate given the forthcoming holiday (American, I know) for all of us clannies and our friends to get together and celebrate what we are thankful for. Join me and my wonderful clan for all the festivities!! (Now is your chance to show your RP skills!)

Bre'Cheye had spent days hanging various fall flowers all around the clan hall; bright yellow sunflowers blended in with the orange, amber, violet and yellow chrysanthemums. In one corner she had stacked three bales of straw in a 'pyramid' shape with cornhusks behind them and pumpkins, gourds and hardened indian corn placed delicately to finish the display of harvest time. She had also hung dried flowers and herbs from the rafters, connecting the orange, yellow and brown streamers that criss-crossed back and forth.
The long tables, plenty for all who chose to arrive, lined the edges of the room leaving plenty of space for waltzes, Irish reels, tangos and any other type of dancing that might fancy a person's notion. Near the harvest display in the corner, the platform had streamers hung around with pumpkins placed strategically and very pleasing to the eye in hopes that not only would an Irish Bard appear but also all other musicians of the nearby land.
Opposite the platform for the musicians were four long buffet tables lined with magical containers. When the food level reached halfway, the containers sparkled and were quickly replenished. The menu was expansive with almost every item one could imagine. Bre'Cheye had it all laid out, even a tiny little chair and table at one place setting just for Ant. She stood back admiring her work then placed the invitations in the mail:
Suckling pig roasted with Jonathon apples
Baked turkey with stuffing & strawberry Snapple
Barbequed chicken, Honey glazed baked ham
Roasted garlic & onions and leg of lamb.
Pumpkin and goat cheese & chicken soups
Enough to tempt this hungry group
Salads of gelatin, turnips and cyphids
Fried butterflies & mushrooms & lots of squid.
Mashed, squished & fried potatoes
Sliced, diced and candied tomatoes
Carrots, celery, green & brown beans
Bring a clothespin if you know what I mean.
Lets not forget the marshmallow yams
The corn on the cob, the peaches and jams
Pickles, cukes, feet, eggs and grue
Favorites of great our leader, Sirinnu
Cakes, pies, pastries & Turkish Delight
Biscuits and hot rolls baked up just right
The sauce of cranberries are passed all around
With more to come, more to astound.
Lembas bread and batwing crunchies
For any who still have the munchies
Wassail, ambrosia and butterbeer
The best of drinks far and near.
Sit back and enjoy the grand feast
Drink your ale, take up a cake of yeast
Give your Thanks, your blessings too
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
