Despites his apparent invisibility, the orc was seen a few times within the Thanksgiving gathering hall!
He hadn’t been able to take part in the preparations, but once the buffet was ready, he carefully made his way around the place to taste some of the countless, inexhaustible meals offered. It was said he ate four legs of lamb, three bowls of corn, four whole turkeys and five enormous portions of cake, covered with melted marshmallows for frosting; this all took place before the party even really began (to test the efficiency of the should-be magical containers, just to make sure they were really magical).
However, even with his invisibility, he was seen out on the dance floor as soon the bard put his fingers to his lute! He moved as if in a trance, out on the dance floor, doing an orcish jig when the bard started the famous Hobbit’s Jig Reel after his Mo rùn geal dìleas performance.
The orc then spent some time chilling with his friends. Tripop kept making him laugh very hard as he sat near his fighting comrades Gawayn, Orrv & Dathron near the buffet! The orc really enjoyed the way the hall was set up, especially the mood the pretty druid had created for the event. Even if the little ant, kid_rock, mike, dragon fire and many others looked to be late a bit as well, overall it was a great event. The perfect set up to spend some time away from the everyday politics, bloody questing and the trading market.
After everyone had a good time spent dancing, laughing and eating, the orc understood that this one-day party was coming to and end soon!
After the last song from Irishman rang out across the hall, an always-smiling Bre walked toward the orc. The orc was near the buffet again, trying one of the delicious barbecued chickens. She pushed him onto the platform, expecting at least one small speech from the clan leader. She smiled encouragingly while crossing her arms in a manner that let the orc know that she expected such a thing and wouldn’t take no for an answer.
The orc tried to clean what was left of the chicken from his mouth and lips before clearing his big voice and starting to speak:
My friends, dear comrades from Wizards & Warriors and all our friends from distant lands. Today I’m grateful for this wonderful clan! I thank Grumtashk the orc God everyday, who gifted me this life I cherish so much! Every one of you helps me daily to stay motivated, to quest more, to trade more, to stay alive and active within the domain of Queen Beth!
Tonight my friends, we have had a great party! Thanks to Lady Bre’Cheye for getting it ready for all of us to enjoy, and to all of you who contributed!
The orc then looked toward Irishman.
Thanks to you my friend for your bardic skills, and the great songs you’ve played for us on this great day. I want to raise my cup to celebrate this day with you all! May we dance and eat together for one last song before this party really ends!
CHEERS everyone!
The orc then jumped off the platform directly onto the dance floor, inviting everyone to join him in concluding the party as only WWwers can do – with the help of the awesome bard!
