The Guild that teaches you these skills can be found in the forest. The total amount of guild skills you can have is equal to twice your level. For ex. you are level 15, you can have 30 guilds skills.

Warriors: Cost: 2 charm and wits
Berserk - Can be activated on the 2nd turn of battle if your opponent happens to survive the first round, berserk allows you to do a lot of damage to your opponent (I think twice what you would normally do). The ability is tied to your guts.
Fighter skills and guts will determine whether you get sick, injured and fatigued when you wake up during refresh.

Traders: Cost: 2 guts and wits
Swindle/Backstab - Bactstab allows you to get the jump on your enemy with a pre-emptive strike. Not as strong as Berserk. Swindle forces the enemy to give you all their stuff. This ability is tied to Charm.
Also, trader skills will help you escape battle easier.

Wizards: Cost: 2 guts and charm
Allows you to use the mesmerize/hypnosis ability. Hypnosis will work kinda like swindle except it will be based on your wits instead of charm.
At certain Mage level, you can use a certain jewel, as follows:
# of Mage skills - Jewel- effect
2 - Quartz - identify - same as an identify scroll
4 - Opal - heal - similar effect to a healing salve
6 - Garnet - cure- similar effects to seltzer water
8 - Emerald - panic - like panic dust
10 - Ruby - blind - like blind dust
12 - Turquoise - blast- like blast powder
14 (?) - Diamond - ??

Sage: Cost: 3 Guts, wits and charm
If you have a sage skill and you fight an enemy using a normal attack and he happens to use Swindle/Backstab, Mesmerize and Ieatsu, Sage will negate it.
Note: Sage skills does not work 100%. Also, Sage skills might only work on the first round so Berserk can still hit you.

Samurai: Cost: 3 guts, wits and charm
Give's you the Ieatsu ability. Ieatsu does as much damage as a berserk skill but you'll be able to use it only on your first turn. Learned only by presenting a Bushido Token to a samurai in shangala.
