What a pain rust is. In irder not to ge mezzed and half my stuff nicked Ive been using storage. Had about a dozen SAC a few CG, decent DSJ etc. Now I know they are subject to rust so every 3 days I go and oil em up
The last few days however i had too much cash to go to storage So today I dumped a few hundred mill marks and went oiling. However hald the stuf had rusted and half had not.
Why? Every time I iol the stuff I make sure it each item has 5 oils. So why would some rust and some not Yes I'm sure it was 5 oils. 100% sure. I over oiled each item to get the error saying 5 is max.
Pretty narked now - I hae rusty 210 SAC and a rusy 196 and yet the 182 survived. I have 2 rusty 126 SAC and one nor rusty
So wish that queens blessing covered storage,
Any. Nuff said.

Rust is indeed a pain Dees. I use storage as well, but I try not to leave things in there after I log out incase something happens, like it did in your case. I can't explain why some rusted and some didn't, other than to say rust isn't guaranteed which you're aware of. My tip would be to put your stuff in storage to quest, but before you log out just transfer the items back to your pack that way the queens blessing will protect them. If your running out of space you might try creating a storage character that is solely for keeping your items, that way once you get the items oiled up you only have to log in when you need an item(if you need one fast PM me and I'll share with you some tips)
Sorry to hear about your luck :/
