I presume E is enchanted? UR is unrusted? IS S = Silver? ES = Enchanted Strong, old lingo which now means fully enchanted UR = Unrusted, as you surmised, Deesloop

No no, you're engaging in the fine clan tradition of asking questions that seem blatantly obvious only after you've had the answer pointed out to you. We've all done it at some point (or many, many times). And believe me, we'd rather answer the same question ten times than to let anyone go wandering around confused. Poking around the Oracle and Random Orange's site can help, but we all don't have unlimited time when we want to know something. So asking is often the most direct answer.

No it was a dumb question Should have spotted that Acronym thread. NOT a dumb question at all. You should have seen me puzzling over all the abbreviations when I first encountered them. Who could have thought the S meant "strong", since that word no longer has any real meaning with respect to enchantment? There used to be no limit on the number of enchants you could put on a piece - hence the "strong" if I'm not mistaken. Rightfully, it should now be "fully" or something like that instead, but it's hard to change a system from suboptimal to optimal. Just take a look at your keyboard (if it's a qwerty) and you'll know that. Believe me, your guess was as good as mine, better I think, when I first saw ESUR.

Hold on a sec.....
You're telling me, that ESUR DOESN'T stand for E-surance? I thought we were all agents working for the same company :/

W-what? That's what I was told, too, DS! Right after I paid a few hundred dollars to go through training, I still have my certificate that says I'm a licensed ESUR agent!
