It's been a while since I've been around the boards for any long periods of time, but I have done SOME questing, and a LOT mingling, dicing, and gaming to increase my stats to a certain level.
Being as druidic and well-balanced as I possibly could-seeing as that is how I ALWAYS play rpgs, online and off- my current stats are as follows:
Level 26 Age 116
guts:205 atk:403
wits:206 def:436
charm:209 skill:2260
fighter13/13 mage5/5 trader9/5 sage14/14 ieatsu13/13
Spiked Helm[=+34a+36d+99s]
Dragon Scale Jacket[=+37a+238d+358s]
Crystal Swift Boots[=+39a+125d+612s]
Silver Amini Club[=+159a+5d+412s]
Shuriken[=+84a+27d+361s]
Many and most of these stats were built up in lovely Queen Beth's court. They do find me to be quite the charmer, and most popular. As a matter of fact, this very day, I woke up as a Count and decided to mingle at the Royal Court. I mingled and heard gossip myself coming from Captain Xavier! However, it turned out that someone had heard something could be coming, whispers of "Count Cyruleanide" I went to speak with Queen Beth of this, and suddenly my social standing was raised to that of a Viscount!
I then engaged Captain Quail in conversation, who had an eye for gemstones. He had heard that Queen Beth had desired another Unicorn necklace. I then proceeded to her throne, about to explain to her that I would have one made for her with only the best materials, and to avidly, enthusiastically thank me, she raised my social standing to that of a Marquis! She must really love those things..
I was then approached by Earl Umbert. He had apparently noticed that my rank was raised twice in less than thirty seconds. He thought that perhaps I was secretly the Queen's lover to have achieved said goal in such a short and unrealistic amount of time. Of course, not having ever been the Queen's lover but only her tennis partner, i asked the Earl Umbert
"Why would you care?"
The Umbert's secret was exposed of course, wanting to keep Queen Beth only for himself, and I immediately went to speak to Her Highness of this abominable treachery! Her Royalty should be able to freely have whomever she wants as a lover, whenever she wants them as a lover!
In thanking me for exposing the crooked-walking Umbert, the lovely Queen raised MY social standing to that of Earl. No longer shall this rank's name be slandered for such dorky, horny, virgin-y men.
Captain Carroway. Ahhh, she was lovely. She collected butterflies. Butterflies were very plentiful in Shangala, where I very long studied the sacred, hidden martial art of Ieatsu.
Butterflies helped me to realize what was beautiful, and that all of life had some worth of being lived, even if it was only to look upon such beautiful things. My blade was guided with unforeseen clarity.
Captain Carroway collected butterflies with the Queen all the time. After hearing my story, she took me up to see Queen Beth. The Queen laughed, finding the manly-sounding rank of "Duke" being put onto someone who was telling sensitive-type stories to be quite comical, so my standing was once again raised. Duke Cyruleanide.
Now being a Duke, I felt confident enough to confront Marquis Insult about what a douche he ALWAYS is to other people. I then uncovered from him (easily, because he's always plastered) that he was carting supplies to be sold to shops in Salamander township that had been in the goblin mounds.
Outraged myself, for the sake of my fellow adventurers, I dragged this nefarious, wicked man directly to Queen Beth.
As the Queen was about to sentence this man to death on the square by guillotine, I just barely noticed an assassin, darting for the Queen's throne; nobody else seemed to notice at all!
Reacting instantly, I transform my cloak, aggressively spreading my wings. Leaping out, I took eight darts to my left wing, blocking the first attempt to murder Queen Beth. Dropping my left wing swiftly to the ground, I quickly raise the other, spinning my body around at inhumanly divine speeds before slamming the blunt edge of my massive sword down upon the assailant.
The Court had very suddenly become loud with commotion, not having noticed that anything had happened until it was almost over. Eerily, it seemed to become silent as the grave just as quickly.
Queen Beth arose to her feet.
"Duke Cyruleanide, you saved my life. If you had not been here, nobody else would have had the ability to halt the attacker the way you were able to. Nobody would have even noticed. I always hear good word of you. You deserve something that has probably been long forestalled.
"Everybody! Cyruleanide is a Prince now! He did all of that in about two and a half minutes, but he's been such a charming young man and stuff."
I gotta say, that was seriously fun. The Court loves me X) I got my guts wits and charm past 200, got some awesome gear for myself, and I'm going to be braving the outer lands beyond Shangala instead of spending time gaining stats in the Queen's Court.
