Does it matter where or how you get your items identified?? Say like, would it make a difference to what the stats come out to if I get them identified by scroll or pay the 40 and have them identified by bill?? The only difference that comes to mind is saving 40 marks when using the scrolls.. but the scrolls don't always work.. I know some people like to get their crystals and silvers unid in a trade.. is there a reason for that? Higher level chars get better stats when identifying weapons or something? Or do they just like the thrill of doing it themselves? Like scratching off a lottery ticket.. lol... if that makes sense to anyone at all

nah, there's no diff where/how u ID or who IDs them. I just like my CWTs [?] cuz I have one of every stat already and I just think it'd be cool to have a bunch of unid CWTs Some like to take the risk of buying unid gear and then identifying them for themselves. Mm, some people sell unids in mass quantity like 100 [?] spikeys. You wouldnt be able to sell 100 14-16a/d spikeys but because they are unid, there's a chance of a good one being in there and spikeys are one of the most preferred head gear so ya.. hope this helps. oh and the scroll works better with more wits

Also, i had a question about crafting CSB.. (if i don't get a response I'll make a new thread for it) Would it make a difference on how much more likely you would be able to craft CSB in stead of regular swift boots, if you used higher stat weapons/ES weapons?? Or maybe the higher stat might even effect the stats of the CSB/SB? Or just purely random??...

as far as i've seen and read that it doesn't matter if they are rusted, enchanted, high stats, silver or crytals you use. it is all purely random if you get a CSB or SB.
i believe, the chances are about 1/100 in finding a CSB
