Does using several guilt traits on a monster negate their multiplying effect of the probability for gaining a gut/wit/charm?
For example, whenever I mezz unsuccessfully, then berzerk, I've never gotten a gut or a wit.

That multiplier only applies to the finishing move (the move that ends the fight-a successful trade or mezz are the only guaranteed one-hitters as they will ALWAYS end a fight.. If you successfully backstab a monster, then kill it with berserk, you'll only get the berserk multiplier. If you berserk a dragon, but kill it with a regular attack, you won't receive any bonus.

Just a friendly tip: If you're into stat gains (like all of us are) you'll gain way more if you follow the mandate of feeding + bribing + running from everything that doesn't drop what you want (Provided you have enough Trader skills). For my 4 characters, the stat gains from their guild skills account for probably less than 10% of their daily gains, and these are characters ranging from level 16 to 42, so it pretty much applies to all levels

I'd say it's the same for me. I've gotten more wits by running than by mezzing or answering riddles. But I've gained more charm drinking than any other method. I've had one fight, where I got a backstab and berserk and got a gut. Remember it's only a multiplier and it's all still up to the numbers to decide if you gain any stats.

Drinking does help a lot. I actually recommend drink a lot so that you're more effective when trying to gain wits from fleeing So get smashed, then go flee from the most dangerous foes you can find. It's totally a sweet idea

I'm curious a bit here toki! Where did u get that information about only the killing hit is involve in the formula to know if we gain +1 stat? Did u read it somehwere, , or deduced it?
I though it was possible with a low level chary to first use backstab, , not killing the monster, but still hiting him, then use a mezz to finish him, , and that it was possible to gain various stats that way...
I may be wrong, , just a feeling I have..
