Help me if you can ... I'm feeling dowwnnn? Another contest, yup. ;D ;D 1. What is "Positive Language Feedback?" 2. How does it help mankind? 3. Where is it taught (it has to have a definition before this prize can be awarded)? 3 places or 3 professions for 3 more prizes. Or, who teaches it. How about rares for prizes? Probably minor because I am a minor in DC (just past newby): Actual value less than marks but hard to come by, so, in reality, worth more.

i forget the name of the movie, it was about quantum physics.. doctor quantum with the kid and the basketball court...
Positive language feedback is when you put positive energy into something and it benefits that object.
In Asia scientists held studies in which they took water and to some they said wonderful and loving things that would be positive and embracing. The exact same water in the same environment received berating and negative input.
When they froze the water, they noticed that the water with positive energy put into it made beautiful crystals and formations of flakes and stars. The water that received negative energy froze with no overall symmetry or form while lacking the stars of the other subjected water.
Err? i din wicki it yet, I will now:
Positive feedback From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search
Positive feedback is the feedback loop system in which the system responds to perturbation in the same direction as the perturbation (It is sometimes referred to as cumulative causation). In contrast, a system that responds to the perturbation in the opposite direction is called a negative feedback system. These concepts were first recognized as broadly applicable by Norbert Wiener in his 1948 work on Cybernetics.* [1]
A system in equilibrium in which there is positive feedback to any change in its current state is said to be in an unstable equilibrium, whereas one with negative feedback is said to be in a stable equilibrium.
The end result of a positive feedback is often amplifying and "explosive", i.e. a small perturbation results in big changes. This feedback, in turn, will drive the system further away from its original setpoint, thus amplifying the original perturbation signal, and eventually become explosive because the amplification often grows exponentially (with the first order positive feedback), or even hyperbolically (with the second order positive feedback). Indeed, chemical and nuclear fission based explosives offer an excellent physical demonstration of positive feedback. Bombarding fissile material with neutrons causes it to emit even more neutrons, which in turn affect the material. The greater the mass of fissile material, the larger the amplification, resulting in greater feedback. If the amplification is great enough, the process accelerates until the fissile material is spent or dispersed by the resulting explosion.
Both positive and negative feedback are closed systems, because the system is closed by a feedback loop, i.e. the response of the system depends on the feedback signal to complete its function; without such a loop, it would become an open system. In contrast, a feed-forward system is an "open system" since it does not have any feedback loop, and does not rely on feedback signal to function.
Examples of positive and negative feedback, open and closed systems can be found in ecological, biological, social systems and in engineering control systems such as servo control systems.

Now apply some of that to language. Huge hint: this is taught at the college level (GE) as part of a course in and it is rigorously taught in English-Speaking international cities, like (where I learned it -- see icon). I thought it would be beneficial to our international community, this board. I have placed several hints around the forums. If you figure out the word that replaces that I would have placed there, I think this is worth a prize. How about time crystals if they have value and somebody tells me how to use them or 1,000,000 marks? I first learned about it in my class. I made my wife take it at a different college and it was a major part of her (this is a repeat word, worth the value for each time) class. She agreed but wouldn't attend class -- we divorced; but in the process it was taught at our sessions. Remember, that the definition must be stated before credit is given for the where and who for the rares. The 's are independant and get prizes as they are guessed.

How about time crystals if they have value and somebody tells me how to use them or 1,000,000 marks? hehe if u move in the Mound with a map to vortex in ur pack, , u can fight evil fred!, , , if u have a time crystal with u, , u will give it to evil fred to avoid the fight... Though, the main use of time crystal is its marks value (sell em to merchant, higest amount or mark ) ... beware, , hacked time crystals flood the tp! best to stay away of huge amount ,hehehe

Good ol Sirinnu, I can always count on you to post and help. Thanx for the tc info -- all mine are earned by me. I sent you close to 15 for your raregiveaway [sic, raregivaway] -- spelling, yuk + the good ac. I haven't traded anything or with anybody yet. I have participated in the freebies though. Maybe one day I will be able to participate. I screwed up on the jag mantles: I didn't realize that they also fill a head slot -- so I guess they are pretty useless at the level I have been getting. So, now that you have answered the tc question what should I give the participants as a consolation prize? a turnip or the tc -- what would you like as you were a participant? Lost power last night so am running a little behind. And you said you were going to give me up to 3 dsj's -- is that still going to happen? I was gifted a lot of dsscales, but I get really crappy dsj's -- I think I need to be a higher level, so I'm going to sit on them longer. Are you going to try your hand in this contest? Or do only mindless contests work on this forum? I thought the spelling bee worked well. When I start making the odd decent dsj's I will return whatever you gift me now -- to you personally or wwbody? Mine won't be esed though (that I return, not the ones you might gift me). My best wits are up to 133 so I'm almost at 30% for the csb.

ALL PRIZES DOUBLED AS PART OF THE "MEGA PARTY," starting March 20. And Choice of types (minor or ??major) of rares. Consolation prizes too = participation. A synonym of "the expanding world" in actuality is "the contracting world," why? The conceptual synonym is the antonym -- how many other anomolies can you think of like this? I think the most apparent is flammable and inflammable. Then there is the "sky is falling" and "not, not, not I", said the pig. (whoops, bad example, but really funny if you know what I mean -- from Chicken Little and Who will help me bake the bread, the rooster/chicken {different chicken}.)
