It seems that gambling in the TS is getting popular, I want some ideas and feedback so we can teach others to play, its simple, the first person to roll a Dragon's Eyes or a Troll's Hands, D&T for short is what is usually the standard for gambling.
usually you would see something like
/act puts 2 SG on the table /act puts 200k DS on the table
then /r till you hit D or T
this is the basic style of play, i find it a great way to bring attention to the TS and hopefully attract RPers, TS is back on its way to being revived.
I have talked about playing a version of gambling called 'Cutthroat', where after every round the pot increases, with a bit of experimenting this became rather chaotic fast, so i was thinking every 5 rounds the pot increases instead of every round, and for this it would be great to have 4-5 players at once, and someone observing tracking whats being put into the pot and who is doing what Antes.

this is just my personal opinion:
I don't mind being in the TS while everyone is dicing for items. I've done so myself, mainly for money. But I wouldn't want to see JUST that every time I go there. I'd like to see a mixture of the gambling and the RP aspect of things.
I wish that the maker of the game would add sounds to when someone logged into the TS or when they left. But I know that will never happen.

Seems that's what the TS has become now: only for trading and dicing
Once again, my personal opinion: what a shame

Dicing is funnnn...i agree with what Bre said a while back, we need to add sounds/alerts to TS so that you know when someone has entered/left/posted something. Or maybe some way of logging in with mIRC...that would be VERY cool, but i'm not sure if thats even possible. depends how the chat server is set up i guess...

I would think that if anyone has the knowledge to add those things to a chat (sounds/alerts) and was given the chance to actually get into the "background/guts" of the coding, then anything could be added.
