Happy Halloween! To celebrate the day of ghosts and candy and riding the line between life and death in the West, I hearkened back to Wizard & Warrior's recent clan birthday poem, which so many people helped out with. Let's make a Halloween Poem, not just for us Wizards & Warriors, but for all members of the Dragon Court family! This is not just for art's sake, either. You can post a stanza starting now and you cannot repost until someone else has already posted. At the strike of midnight CST on Nov 1, I will "complete" the poem. I will then put up a poll with the names of everyone who's contributed. Either at that time or beforehand, you must offer up which stanza of yours you want judged by your peers. Everyone will have about a day to vote before the poll closes and a winner is chosen. First Prize is a 63d CJF UTUR Second Prize is Three Silver Staffs (Two 26a and 31a w/Tricky) Third Prize is a 55a STW and 22a SWK Candy (various random rares) will be sent to all participants! Here the Poem Begins: On this night so dark and spooky At the Court of Beth the Queen Many stories - crazy, kooky Let's all comers vent their spleen So join me hither, sing and rhyme To mingle thoughts, words we churn This scary DC poem's time Fulfilled tonight - by your turn

A scratch, and then, a caw To chase the ones who would scream until their throats are raw who is evil, and who is good?
Edit: Put the beginning part of the poem in.

Why, that TheAnt's no poet!

In this place, strange things you'll see Some will mimic you and me.

And make false true All Hallows Eve.

not quite as long as our Bday poem (Though only a few authors have managed THAT feat ) but I still love it. Thanks for the help, everybody! I'll wait to vote till a few more do.
