Sure are, I quest almost daily, but DC is a shadow of what it used to be. AFAIC TS is deserted (Although it could be a time difference thing) Even here at the W&W Castle things are pretty quiet, with even the big names only visiting now & again. BUT DC seems to be the game that folk can never leave for good. Every now and again old timers pop by to say hello Ever hopeful that things will pick up again and it's nice to see you pop-by and say hi  |

In the distance a figure can be seen heading in the general direction of the W&W clan hall. The haze causes it to shimmer in and out of view. After several hours the figure is close enough to see that it is accompanied by a mule and heavily laden cart.
Several dips in the road and a few more hours pass. Now the individual is close enough that, if it only looked up from the road, its face may be recognized.
The cart is obviously full as the tarp covering it is bulging and the ropes appear to be straining to hold the load. As the weary mule comes to a halt before the gates, the figure slowly walks forward and pounds on the gate. The hollow echo resounds within. The figure repeatedly pounds on the gates, then stops and returns to his wagon. Reaching up, he pulls down a small barrel and sits it on the ground. Expertly, he broaches the barrel and sets a tap. Pulling a dented tankard from the floor of the wagon, he draws off a foamy mug of ale. Taking a long pull on his tankard, he wipes his chin then throws back his hood.
Irishman squints in the fading light and bellows at the gate, "Is anyone home? Or do I hafta drink this ale all by meself?"

Hearing a sound at the gate, Unknown drags himself out of a festering pile of spam and pie which he had apparently become buried under at some point.
"Ugh, how long have I been out?"
After taking a few moments to make himself moderately presentable, he hurries toward the gate and throws it open. His eyes light upon the stranger...no, the friend!
"Irishman, you're a sight for sore eyes!"

Hello everyone! I thought I'd drop by and let everyone know I'm still alive. Levi is almost 4 now, doesn't seem possible and as you might imagine... he keeps me busier than even I could have imagined!! I keep in contact with Irishman on a fairly regular basis. I don't have a Facebook account anymore and not much time for anything "online-ish" other than to check in with Irishman. He told me of the dastardly thing called "Real Life" that has taken a big bite out of Dragon Court. I guess that's something that happens to everything and might go in phases. There might be a wave of new players in the next couple years, you never know. I hope everyone is doing well and I do hope that you've overcome the updating of proboards! Time will tell if my sig will show up after I hit the reply button  If anyone ever wants to get hold of me with a message or whatever, just let Irishman know and I'm sure he'd be happy to pass it along |

"Something tells me we've not seen the last of him!" --- Bre'Cheye!  I'm glad, at least, that everything seems to be going well for you. I can hardly believe that Levi is already so old! I mean, four isn't very old, but it doesn't seem like it's been that long. A lot of the problem in DC, I think, is that there's nobody here. I would find it a whole lot easier to make time to drop by if I knew that my old friends were here still. And the same goes for everybody else. I think I'm going to set it up so that I get an email when somebody posts in this thread, so that it's not over a month before I check again and discover I've missed it when somebody shows up. |

ya you only made it to day 7 (sort of) but its good someone is out here keeping up the fine fight and keeping this game going. I finally got a new computer worth turning on. so you should see me more. i'll be around  to answer your first question of this thread, I think why we keep coming back is the community and people that play or post on clan sites. we come back and long for our old friendships. oh and pie of course |

Or perhaps it's so obvious that he assumed we'd append it automatically in our minds.
The two anchors of DC are Pie, friendship and spam
