Hello WW.
I have this habit of playing for two weeks then forgetting about DC for a year or two. Been doing this since 1998 (damn I feel old). Can't recall joining your clan, but quite happy I did so, as this seems like the last vestige of DC that still has some life. Good to see a few people are still hanging on.
Started a new character. Damn, when did gryphons start kicking so much ass?
Anyways, good to see people around.
Also, how do you gain wits? I recall getting a ton by sailing and 'discovering' Hie Brasil and Shangala for the thousandth time each. I'm mesmerizing left and right but nothing that way.

P.S. Are old double rare MLRs worth anything? have a Bla/D/Bl and a Bla/D/P. Not enchanted antiques, and they are a bit rusty.
P.P.S. I still have my rock and turnip collection.. Do people still collect junk in DC?

Surely it is 'wiser' to run from the Dragon than a field rat. I remember finding rocks from pirates most commonly (in the days before Hie Brasil and Shangala, when a high stat Great Bow was uber), though I think harpies and some goblins dropped them too. |

Where do you mainly quest? and ill give you a good method of what to do in that area Well, I can pretty much kill everything with my 'normal' attack, so sadly the game loses its luster quickly. Kill the dragon for 50 or so quests, get bored, 50 quests in Hie Brasil (could use a better spikey, and I've never found a gauntlet) then 50 in Azteca (could use a better SAC). This is surely wishful thinking, but any chance DC ever gets more difficult areas added? I would think people from this forum would be happy to do some Java programming. Perhaps another area accessible through the rarely-used Vortex? |

Base Stats, most are fully enchanted 20a Spikey - trying to find a better one over the next few days 207d DSJ - I can start making more DSJs, I just seem to make soooo many crappy ones, plus I want to smack that arrogrant elf whenever I get an 88d DSJ. 54d CSB - I honestly cannot remember making these, maybe someone from WW sent me them some time ago? 182 SAC - I've actually found quite a few SACs in my DC life but never an elite one 49a 99d CJF - still fully enchanting this one I have a 320a STB, but I think the SAC/CJF combo is better. I have a fully enchanted 20a 120d Kout, which is nice armor with a bit of offensive punch. I've always been disappointed there isn't any silver/crystal headgear in the game, seems like an oversight, even Imacaci Masks kinda suck. Wish Evil Fred dropped some cool stuff. no bad gear you have my friend! It's been a veryyy old time, since we could last gain stats by traveling by the sea !! It was fun tough, with a rutter to hie brasil you *could* end up in hie brasil OR go fish. With both rutters (to brasil AND Shangalla) each quest in the go fish icon lead to one of the 4 choices :hie brasil, shangalla , go fish OR nothing!. Were you using the name Marlow back then too or J.D.L.? Sorry for having to make you use another main name, , perhaps mention it in your signature so we know where to send for gifts !! I didnt know much players by that time, but I was already very addict! You must find DCgoals to remains dc motivated Long terms goals preferably!! Collecting many kind of silvers, or all 75a rare gladiuses, or a 2.0 of all items collection! Finding uppies are always fun, but gets really hard to find at some point.. You have still some room to find yourself some new uppies by questing/manufacturing items! Or I could certainly offer one or 2 for few rocks (I rarely ask for much, , but dc rocks!!!) To get rocks one must go in mountain without thief insurances, , when the troll swindle you, he takes everything in your backpack, and replace it all with a Rock! There was a level of randomness which was quite fun. I remember trying for weeks to obtain a Bushido Token, then I gave it to a Samurai and he smashed it (they didn't have to train you!). Then I think he Iaetsued me  Were you using the name Marlow back then too or J.D.L.? I had a Marlowe, but he's since evaporated. J.D.L. has been around the longest. I started a couple more today, they'll likely be applying to WW, only poor peasants though currently. Damn, that makes them much harder to get than killing tons of pirates. Actually, I found one other active character - Hillig - another WW member, both seneschals.
