Well I finally hit level 40! Just over a year to get here.
So my next goal is 1000 Guts and to get to Seneschal.
So I'm kinda looking for some advice on the Sen upgrade. Is it a case of splitting my quests 50/50 betwen questing and currying favour in Beth's illustrious company?
Also once at Sen, how often is a Queens visit necessary? I go every day for her blessing just now, but out of 200 quests how many would you need to waste spend placating here desire for my precious companionship? Would hate to get to Sen then lose it!
Cheers folkd And March 20th is very, very close now!

Depends on how close you are. You lose favor each day so if your splitting quests you may not be gaining much each day so it might take you a while. I would personally just game everyday with all my quests and power through to Sens. Once there I usually have to go back once every 1-2 weeks to game for a day so I don't lose rank.

I have actually an info page on this in the Shadow Ninjas' Forum.
But I'll just copy it here.
I've noticed that it isn't worth it to try and quest and try to rank up. If ranking up is your goal then there are some things that I have noticed that help.
- Having a piece of armor that you are wearing with the "popular" rare qualiity will really increase the rate at which you gain rank.
- Also, if you are interested in gaining fame as well from gaining rank, then you should wait to before talking to the queen (which is the bottom icon in the courts that requires 3 quests to click on it) until you have checked the rank/favor charts and find yourself around 10000 favor. If you do this and gain all of your ranks at the end then you will gain over 8k fame when ranking up from squire to Seneschal. It's a substantial amount of fame so I find that it's worth it since otherwise you will lose all the fame you gain from ranking over the period of gaining favor in the Courts.
- I can't be sure conclusively right now if Gaming or Mingling is better, but in my opinion you should go with the stat that is higher (guts/charm) or the stat that you are more interested in getting. I personally favor gaming since it is a stat that I don't mind increasing in the Courts. (You can gain great amounds of charm in other ways so I choose guts & gaming in the Courts). Up to personal preference though.
Hope this helps.

Gaming vs Mingling depends on which rank your at. Lower ranks you go faster if you mingle whereas higher ranks gaming works better. If your regent and trying to get to Sens I think once you break 9100 favor you can get it.

I think i'm mqs with about 3700 favour I just need top spend a couple of weeks migling/gaming to get up to 9,500 and then just speak to the queen several times?

Brilliant plan. That way you don't lose the quests trying to rank up while trying to gain favor. I would check at the end of each day, and then when you see that your favor is where it needs to be when you log out the next day spend another 100 quests just to be sure in gaming/mingling and then rank it up! ; )
GL man!

Well, Sen was eventually achieved. Now just to get to the 1000 guts. Having major issues upping wits too. There was a time all 3 were getting close but wits are SO hard to come by these days. Lucky if 1 get 5 a week despite mezzing/running etc etc.
