everquest.allakhazam.com/wiki/EQ:Races/
The races and classes that are on the above page are based on the online game called Everquest. The table of information on that page shows each race, what alignment (good/evil/neutral) they are and what class they can be. In Everquest 1, a Dark Elf (or Drow)(evil race) could not be a Druid. In Everquest 2, the Dark Elf is able to be a Druid.
The class of Necromancers tend to be on the evil side since they like to "play with dead things."
But like all RP writing that involves different races such as elves, and magical abilities, a lot of time it's all up to the writer. (as long as the writer's imagination doesn't create a 'MOD GOD' type character)
And as for the height of each race, a Barbarian, Iksar (lizard race), Vah Shir (cat race), High Elf (the supposed purest blood of elves), Ogre, Troll are at the high end of 6 foot if not over 7 feet tall. Humans & Erudites (highly intelligent with taller foreheads-probably to accomadate their larger brains) come in next in varying sizes between 5 foot to over 6 foot tall. Half Elf (half human/half High Elf or Wood elf) would be around the same size as Humans but taller than Wood Elves or Dark Elves who range from 4 feet to 5'8". Some Wood Elves might be a bit taller. Halflings (like Frodo of LOTR) and Dwarves (Dwarf men think women without beards are ugly) would be 4 foot and shorter with the Frogloks about the same height. And the Gnome rounds out the group being 2-3 feet tall. I'm not familiar with the Drakkin race (half Dragon Half Human) but I am guessing that race would be about the size of a human or a bit taller.
But since this is a Dragon Court setting and there are loveable and huggable Orc's about, one must also include that race, the race of Ants and some others that have been undiscovered. I'm guessing that the Orc we all know and love is at least 6 feet tall or taller.
Races:
Barbarian, Dark Elf, Drakkin, Dwarf, Erudite, Froglok, Gnome, Half-elf, Halfling, High Elf, Human, Iksar, Ogre, Troll, Vah Shir, Wood elf
(in EQ2, another race is the Fairy which is about the same size as a Halfling and can fly since it has wings)
Classes:
Bard, Beastlord, Beserker, Cleric, Druid, Enchanter, Magician, Monk, Necromancer, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Shadowknight, Shaman, Warrior, Wizard
