There are too many DC strategies to fully list them all
I have experimented with some of Sirinnu's methods on some charries (having all Trader skill, all mage skill, and all Sage skill). Without a doubt, having Sage skills means that charrie will get mezz/backstab/ieatsu/etc. more. The rate of Trader and Mage skill results seemed approximately the same, but overall each of these characters actually got successfullly mezzed/etc. more (because the other charrie had sufficient sage skills to prevent this).
Now, each of these extreme case scenarios represent potential to gain a certain thing. I suspected from the beginning of my experiment that the mage charrie would have highest wits overall, the trader charrie would have highest charm/guts, and the sage would likely find more items. What I found was that the charrie with TRADER skills had more guts/wits/charm than both the other characters, because trader skill helped him succeed in running from foes (and thus gaining more wits). Indeed, running proves to be a more fruitful way to gain wits than mezzing. The sage character did not find more silver than either of the other charries, but he was able to successfully take more of that gear to Bill to be identified
What this experiment demonstrates, is that no one guild skill or strategy rules all. It's important to find a balance. Even if trader skills help gain more wits than Mezz, after a certain point, the success rate of running is so high that having more trader skills doesn't really help much.
Also, I have weaker alts fight in azteca with good gear (es'd suits to about 3k or so, nothing really fancy but not weak either). These alts have around 500+ guts and 300+ wits. With 24 sage skills, they have enough to run successfully from Jags all questing day, so I use the same strategy with them as I use with main, although this is very time consuming. This proves to be great for gathering SACs, but I've only found 1 CJF for the last 14 SACs, so there are disadvantages to this as well
