If you need help or advice about editing, filming, uploading, adding music or text, or any other concern, then this is the thread to ask! Let the questions begin! Here is a sample question: I've already been there but it doesn't tell me where or how to find a vid making program. Anyone want to point me in the right direction?  1- Once you have downloaded a screen viding program, (such as Screen Movie Studio www.mandsoft.com/download/winsetup.exe, free version) , you only have to find the size of the viding windows you want (455w x 355h is perfect for DC applet), then you press record whenever you want to start the vid (before you log on , or when you are ready to quest). There it is.  |

Yes, that is the exact one that I use. Screen Recorder Gold is another good one that has a full trial version.  |

Ok you suggest Windows Movie Maker as an editing tool...what if I have technical difficulties that make it hard to use that? What's a good alternative?

First, you have to create an account on YouTube. Once you have done that go to the YouTube main site and you should see your account name on the top right next to some buttons that say account, quicklist, sign out, help, etc. Just below those is a button in YELLOW that says UPLOAD. Click on that and then find the file to upload. When you upload a video you should create a name for your video, a brief description, and some tags. Tags are just words that if people type them in the search engine then your vid will be pulled up. A good idea for some tags is to include every word in the title of your video as well as some others related to DC. Just list words one after another with a single space in between them.
For example, if your video is about finding a Crystal War Tusk, the tag might look like this:
Crystal War Tusk DC Dragon Court Boar Forest Free Online RPG Roleplaying MMORPG (etc.)

I downloaded the capturing program that Sirinnu suggested, it tells me it cannot capture the image when I have DCourt on b/c some Vidx require capturing in multiples of 4 pixles and the width height should be muliples of 160 and 120, but I tried that and it still didn't capture, HELP!

hummm, , strange...
It shud not matter what u try to vid!! Once u set up the size of the viding camera (I use 463 width and 393 height), whatever what is the windows open behind, , id shud record, DC or not!! (on Screen Movie Studio, u go in area, settings, , , once all is set to record where u want, U only have to click one in area tab beside *Fixed region*, , , and each time u'll press the red recording button, , the recording camera shud appear and starts, , no matter what is displayed on ur current windows...
I dont understand why u could not record dc only, if u can record anything else....
I'm not shure if this help ya, let me know ur progress, , we will make shure u can vid as well, , it shud be easy! (P.S. vidding takes some memory, , may be if u run too many things at once when u try to vid, , it might not work properly)

I believe it has to do with my video card... b/c I can't play Counterstrike Source for a while now and this might be a similar reaction  |

I downloaded viding program. I installed it. It recorded only my mouse pointer moving around. Didn't capture the DC applet. just had black background with mouse moving around... no DC. any ideas? |
