In this topic, you'll find all information u need to create your own vids. Several programs are available on the net, to create this, but we offer here examples of what we have used,, , and those work well!
A few things are very important:
1- A program to vid your screen when you are questing
2- A program to compress the files (if you want us to edit it)
3- A program to edit videos.. such as wind movie maker.
4- An account on youtube, so u can upload your own videos (edited or not).
1- Once you have downloaded a screen viding program, (such as Screen Movie Studio www.mandsoft.com/download/winsetup.exe, free version) , you only have to find the size of the viding windows you want (455w x 355h is perfect for DC applet), then you press record whenever you want to start the vid (before you log on , or when you are ready to quest).
2- If you don't have time or you are not talented, but you have a nice vid you'd like to share with the community, , send it to Sirinnu, Or Dragon Stalker dragon.stalkersclan@gmail.com. For that u must have on ur cpu, a file zipping program installed (such as win zip, winrare, 7-zip www.7-zip.org/download.html, etc.). Once the vid file is zipped, just email it, , and we can try to work on it.
3- If you feel art work talented, you can find your own program to edit your vids... You can cut scenes, add music or texts, etc. To make fun vids to watch!
To do this with Windows Movie Maker, open the program. Import any DC videos you might want to edit, and they will be added to a collection. Drag the videos into the bar at the bottom, and you can also see two other areas to edit your vid. The bar below the video section is a place for music, where you can add narration or music. The bottom space is for titles or text you can overlay on the video.
4- Any players can also have a youtube account, and directly upload their dc vids there and use this forum section to share your results! First, you have to create an account on YouTube. Once you have done that go to the YouTube main site and you should see your account name on the top right next to some buttons that say account, quicklist, sign out, help, etc. Just below those is a button in YELLOW that says UPLOAD. Click on that and then find the file to upload. When you upload a video you should create a name for your video, a brief description, and some tags. Tags are just words that if people type them in the search engine then your vid will be pulled up. A good idea for some tags is to include every word in the title of your video as well as some others related to DC. Just list words one after another with a single space in between them.
For example, if your video is about finding a Crystal War Tusk, the tag might look like this:
