now and it's changed to 5k =P before you could give away however much you wanted, i'm not sure how long you've played though i guess it's been about 8 months since they made the trade/drop restrictions.. which really is a shame it's hard to level up an alt with only 3k available every so often =(. if you need anything like if you're in to playing it a lot let me know i'll provide basically whatever you could really need. though i don't give out barrows sets dragon sets or new shields.. lol

Much like in DC, sometimes the best help is to just motivate someone to try harder, to give advice and tips, or just to have fun talking about the game.

after you've done all the work to get to 120 and get all your money it's hard to give it away.. That is what separates the DC community apart from other gaming communities. Believe me when I say I understand all the "work" that it takes to get good items in RS (Divine is level 120) as well as in DC. You seem to suggest that it's ok to hold onto everything you've earned and accumulated, but it's kind of selfish. I, myself, have given up over half of my wealth in DC (gave away all my tiques as well as some very highstat items). Without this sacrifice, though, DC would be like any other game (much like you suggest you feel in RS about your wealth). I hope you don't take this as an insult so much as an encouragement to help others no matter what game you play (or even in real life). Devote one day in RS or in DC to questing for other people and helping them out, and you'll see what I mean. You'll never regret the time you spend helping someone else.

This game looks cool too, just started up a guy... Snarfvader is the name, if anyone wants to add me. Also, if anyone has a starter package of stuff they want to send me that would be cool too

oh i've helped many people through quests taken hours of my time out of days to just help people. but giving it and the way people treat a lvl 120 with a good set of armor on.. you can't have people running around following you making what you're doing unenjoyable. i'm not greedy but people have to show efort before giving something. and devine auror seems familiar what clans have you been in? i used to be warlord of (the dynasty) (dark ascension) and i was a high counsel in DS

DS I understand what your saying, but with DC we have a small community of people, and when someone helps another out people acknowledge it. In RS it's like thanks, bye now. I guess the satisfaction you get from helping people in DC, is not as satisfying in RS. That is my thoughts.

Sirrinu,
Your concerns are completely understandable and wise I would say, but to keep the game going i think it wouldn't be too hard. It doesn't take too long to finish your quests and as long as the forums are active and we keep people interacting we're still keeping things going even if it's runescape inverted a small fraction. it's also easier to interact and play with your friends on runescape so in all it may bring our community closer.. and of course we would need to make sure we keep people playing dc watching their rank and keeping this clan going on there. but think about it as long as we keep the friendships going and make new ones.. we're being successful i would say. the thing i love most about online rpg games is the people i meet. otherwise i don't think i would play.
just my say -Goku

I used to play runescape too and stopped at lvl 66 after completing all the free quests due to commitments. After a couple of months,i returned and found my account got hacked and i lose almost all my stuff.I guess I would like to start all over again and explore it but now is not an option as i dont have much time for such a high maintenance game.

I have a friend who plays Runescape, I'm trying to convince him to play DC. If anyone wants to put a word in for me, his name is Drunkenchimp. Tell him Rain sent you.

Well I just saw this post and started reading it. It is a great idea and I'm beginning to get ideas on how it could work so I'll post a little here and send you a pm in a bit. Since games like WoW and Runescape and the like are so widely spread it would be easy to catch the eye to a lot of people. And if it was the case that we had a clan in one of these games we would have to have a signature in-game of some sort that would catch the eye of other players and give us a reason to explain there also promoting the W&W Clan as well as DC in general. It is an idea for sure and I'm sure we can come up with good ways to pull it off... Glad you thought of it. Raistler P.S. I also used to play RS until a little more than 2 years ago but I'll add you all.

I rarely play it these days. But sometimes I'll just get bored and see if anyone is on.
